Middy Point

This point may be preferred if the customer is a “pusher” or a tight knitter. The Middy point has a shorter (than Stiletto) point profile, that is, the distance from the regular shaft diameter (colored part of the needle) to the end of the point. Very tight knitters find this profile gets the stitch up onto the needle diameter quickly which makes for better gauge.
