SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Signature Needle Arts will ship all in-stock orders within 5 business days. If your item is currently backordered we will notify you via email and let you know the expected stock and ship dates for the item you have ordered. Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery once the package has left our facility. Orders placed after business hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be packed and shipped the following week.
Standard Shipping and Processing
Most in-stock purchases arrive within 7 to 10 business days after processing. Signature charges a flat rate shipping fee of $5.99/order for standard shipping and priority shipping is available for $8.99 on all domestic orders. All standard international orders are $10.00 to ship. Please see our international shipping contract below.
International shipments are subject to Duties, Taxes, Broker Fees, and Customs Fees in your country. These EXTRA fees are YOUR responsibility and must be paid upon receipt of the shipment. The rules for these fees vary by country, and your local government determines the duty and customs charges. Customs procedures may delay shipments. The estimated time of delivery for international orders is 14-30 days.
Canadian orders are subject to duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid upon receipt of shipment. Contact your customs office for more information on duties, taxes and restricted products. The estimated time of delivery for Canadian Ground orders is 7-30 days.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
By purchasing products from our website you agree to our shipping contract. USPS International Shipping Contract: Liability for international packages passes to the customer once the package is given to the carrier. We are not responsible for lost/damaged international packages. Once the package leaves the USA risk of loss passes to the customer as we cannot control foreign postal services. If your package is lost in international transit YOU WILL NOT receive a refund or replacement before the 45 days has passed which is the minimum time required before an insurance claim can be filed.
All international packages are insured through Interapptive insurance. In the unlikely event that your package is lost or damaged traveling through the international postal route we got you covered! Here is a list of protocols that need to be followed if you need to make a claim.
1) Interapptive will accept an international insurance claim 45 days after the package has shipped from our facility.
2) Once 45 days has passed please contact Signature Needle Arts to let them know your package has not arrived at customerservice@signatureneedlearts.com and include your full name and order number.
3) We will send you a claim form to fill out and begin our portion of the claim paperwork
4) Once the claim has been granted through Interapptive we will issue you a refund or can then reship your merchandise.
What's Covered and what's not?
Interapptive covers the purchase price of the items only. They do not cover the postage. If you file a claim you will only receive a refund for the purchase price of the items.
Insurance claims from international shipments can only be made 45 days after the item has shipped. This gives the postal system a chance to locate it before the insurance claim is filed. Interapptive will only cover physical damages from shipping. It does not cover items that may have a manufacturers defect.
Rush Delivery and Processing
For an additional fee, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. Overnight orders placed after 11 a.m. can not be guaranteed for next day delivery. See shipping options when you check out.
Signature Needle Arts Guarantee
We're confident that you will be completely satisfied with our products. However, if you're not 100% satisfied,
return the items within 21 days from the date of shipment for a refund minus the cost of shipping.
All Signature Needle Arts products are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship under normal use, so if your
needle is defective we will replace it at no charge. Please note that defects caused by the user will not be warranted.
To receive a replacement, just send us the original needle with your name, address, telephone number, email address, and
original order number if possible. Allow three weeks for delivery.
Return/Exchange Policy
BEFORE sending back needles for an exchange or refund please email returns@signatureneedlearts.com.for your RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER.
If you are not completely satisfied with a Signature Needle Arts purchase or gift for any reason please return it to us within 21 days in saleable condition for a full product refund less shipping charges.
All returns MUST be in original packaging. If you have discarded your original packaging, needles MUST be returned in like packaging that INDIVIDUALLY WRAPS each needle such as bubble wrap or tissue paper so they DO NOT touch one another. Needles MUST be shipped in a hard-sided package such as a box or cardboard tube. Needles should not be sent back in an envelope. Refunds will not be issued for needles damaged in the return process. Even if the external packaging does not come back to SNA damaged, needles in the package can still be damaged by improper packaging within.
Needles MUST be sent back as a pair for return or exchange of a damaged needle. This ensures that both needles will be a color match when we ship the new ones.
Exchange of 1st and 2nd Generation Circular Needles
Can I still exchange my 1st or 2nd generation circular needles if I am not happy with them?
Yes, they can still be exchanged until May 31, 2010. All exchanges must be received by May 31, 2010. If you would like to exchange your circulars, please follow the exchange process and email returns@signatureneedlearts.com. to receive a return authorization number and information on how to ship your return before sending it back to us.
• Returns with the original purchase receipt or pack slip will be exchanged or refunded in the original form of payment less S&H except for manufacturer's defects. Returns or exchanges that are damaged in shipping back to us CAN NOT be refunded.
• Returns without the original purchase receipt or packslip will be exchanged or refunded at the current selling price.
• We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.
• Exchanges are subject to additional shipping costs.
• Items that are returned must be in their original packaging including individually wrapping each needle. If you have discarded your original packaging, needles must be returned in like packaging that individually wraps each needle such as bubble wrap or tissue paper. Needles should not be sent back in an envelope.
